Welcome to the Manoora Neighbourhood Centre
The Manoora Neighbourhood Centre, managed by Centacare FNQ since 2023 and funded by the Queensland Government, is a welcoming community space for people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
As local members of the community, we understand the strengths, opportunities and challenges that shape daily life in Cairns West. We are here to support, connect and walk alongside individuals, families and community groups, providing services and activities that respond to local needs.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to inclusion, cultural respect and genuine community connection. Through strong local partnerships and a person-centred approach, we create opportunities for people to build relationships, access support, develop new skills and feel connected to their community.
The Manoora Neighbourhood Centre serves as a hub for:
Connecting individuals with essential support services
Promoting social inclusion and meaningful connections
Encouraging and integrating local community action
Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community.
